The Rapides Parish Honor Guard is comprised of volunteers from various fire departments in the Rapides Parish area. These volunteers have come together to serve the local firefighter communites in thier hours of mourning and remembrance.

Our duties will include firefighter funerals in the Rapides Parish area, the Firefighter Appreciation Day ceremony, and other select events that we may be asked to attend.

The Honor Guard uniforms will be identical in every way except for the left shoulder patch, which will represent the firefighter's home department.
